Because of the constant changes in education, it is ALWAYS a good idea to consult with an advisor before registration.

How can I find out if a class will transfer?

How do I change my major?

Complete a change of program of study form available in advising, admissions and center offices.  You can download the form by clicking HERE.

Do I have to take the Regents' Test?

Only if you’re in a transferable program.  You SHOULD take it after you finish English 1101 and BEFORE you have 45 hours (or else you’ll have to take 2 remedial courses to prepare you for it!).  Registering for the Regents' Test is the same as registering for a class.  Go to  SCORE and on your class registration form enter the CRN for the session you prefer (see Testing page of Schedule Bulletin for CRN).   Make a note of the time/date/location your have signed up for as this CRN/information will disappear from your registration form after Regents' sign up deadline.

Can I register for credit courses even if I’m still taking developmental  courses?

Yes, provided you will have the prerequisite course completed.

I’m undecided; what should I take?

You should take general education courses in the Areas A through E of the online catalog and check with your advisor.
