Unit/Team Goal:  The Marietta off-campus instructional site provides a gateway to success for students in its service area, based upon the overall mission and goals of Georgia Highlands College.

 

 

 

 

 

Expected Outcome: Students will be satisfied with the advising process at the Marietta campus

 

 

 

 

 

Outcome Assessment Method:  Results from the Presently Attending Student Satisfaction Survey and CCSSE will be analyzed

 

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target:  70% or more of the students surveyed will strongly agree or agree that they are satisfied with the advisement at the Marietta site

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target:

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected (Performance Results):  Due to a sampling error, only 16 students responded to the questions on advising.  11 of these, or 69%, indicated that they were satisfied with advisement at the Marietta site.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommended Actions:  A much larger student population must be surveyed in order to get the information needed.  It is recommended that in the next student survey, the Marietta campus be over-sampled.

Outcome Assessment Method:  A site survey will be conducted and the results will be used for assessment

 

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target: 80% or more of the faculty will respond with Strongly Agree or Agree with the statement: “They are satisfied with the communication support I receive at this site.”

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target:  #1, #2, #3,#4, and #7 – 90% or more of the faculty will respond that they Strongly Agree or Agree

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected (Performance Results):  96% of the faculty surveyed indicated that they Strongly Agree or Agree with the statement, “They are satisfied with the communication support I receive at this site.”

Outcome Assessment Method:  A site survey of faculty will be conducted and the results will be analyzed by the off-campus site team.

 

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target: #13 80% or more of the faculty will Strongly Agree or Agree with the statement that “I am generally satisfied with the instructional support I receive at this site.

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target: #5, #6, #8, #9, #10, and #11 – 80% or more of the faculty will Strongly agree or Agree with the statements

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected (Performance Results):  87% of the faculty returning the survey indicated that they Strongly Agree or Agree with the statement, “I am generally satisfied with the Instructional Support I receive at this site.”  13% indicated they had no opinion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommended Actions:  While 87% were satisfied, some did indicate that they would like to receive additional training on the audio-visual equipment.  As a result, a mini-workshop on av is now to be conducted the beginning of each semester.  In addition, a cd of instructions of av equipment has been made available to faculty members who feel that they need additional help
