Unit/Team Goal:

Counseling and Career Services staff members are committed to providing comprehensive counseling services that promote student adjustment to college life, foundations for career decision making and the elimination of barriers to academic performance.

 

 

 

 

 

Expected Outcome:

Students will be made aware of services provided by the Counseling and Career Services Department.

 

 

 

 

 

Outcome Assessment:

Students will take the Presently Attending Student Satisfaction survey

 

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target

70% of students taking the Presently Attending Student Satisfaction survey will indicate that they are aware of the Department

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target:

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected:

85% of students indicated they were aware of the services provided by the Counseling and Career Services Department.

Unit/Team Goal:

Counseling and Career Services staff members are committed to providing comprehensive services that promote student adjustment to college life, foundations for career decision making and the elimination of barriers to academic performance.

 

 

 

 

Expected Outcome:

Students will be satisfied with the information received and the services offered during New Student Orientation.

 

 

 

 

Outcome Assessment:

1) Students will complete the “Inside Scoop Orientation Program Evaluation” rating the performance of the Orientation Leaders and the Orientation presentation itself.

2) Students will complete the Presently Attending Student Satisfaction survey.

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target: 1) 70 % of students will indicate “agree” or “strongly agree” on “The Inside Scoop Orientation Program Evaluation” form after the Orientation presentation.

 

Secondary Target: 1) 70% of students taking the “The Inside Scoop Orientation Program Evaluation” will indicate that they

found the overall session to be informative.

2) 70% of students taking the Presently Attending Student Satisfaction survey will indicate that the Inside Scoop Orientation Program provided them with useful information to get started at GHC.

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected:

Primary: 78% of students “agreed” or “strongly agreed” on the “Orientation Program Evaluation” form received after the Orientation presentations.

Secondary: 1) 80% of students taking the “Orientation Program Evaluation” form indicated that they did find the overall session to be informative and they obtained the information they were looking for.

2) 74% of students taking the PASS survey indicated that the Inside Scoop Orientation Program provided them with useful information to get started at GHC.
