Unit/Team Goal:  Provide Security and Safety for all campuses.

 

 

 

 

 

Expected Outcome:

The Campus Safety Office will incorporate technology to increase the efficiency and flexibility of departmental personnel.

 

 

 

 

Outcome Assessment:  Track number and usage of cell phones available to campus security personnel through Daily Report from all shifts on all campuses, training module on Nextel communications and 10 codes with test results.  

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target:  90% of campus security personnel will carry a cell phone while on duty

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target: 90% of campus security personnel with cell phone access will communicate with the central campus security office at least three times during each shift

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected (Performance Results):  

Primary: 100% of campus security personnel will carry a cell phone while on duty

 

Secondary: 99% of campus security personnel communicated with the central office at least three times during a shift.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommended Actions:  Even with success rates, Campus Safety is conducting spot checks on communications procedures. Campus Safety is also incorporating  communications suggestions gleaned from the Officer questionnaire.

Related College Goal:  GHC will maintain efficient and effective administrative services to support the instruction and community outreach programs of the college.

 

 

 

 

 

Unit/Team Goal:   Provide Security and Safety for all campuses.

 

 

 

 

 

Expected Outcome:

The Campus Safety Office will modify office forms, procedures, and operations to accommodate the evolution of the college

 

 

 

 

Outcome Assessment:  Measure the percentage of Emergency Management Plan components available to the campus community in electronic format

 

 

 

 

Performance Targets: 

Primary Target:  90% of Emergency Management Plan components will be available in electronic format.

 

 

 

 

Secondary Target: 100% of Emergency Management Plan converted to electronic format will be available for access on the GHC Intranet.

 

 

 

 

 

Summary of Data Collected (Performance Results):

Primary: 100% of EMP components will be available electronically.

Secondary: 100% of the EMP has been approved by the Campus Safety Office for placement on the GHC Intranet, pending approval from the President’s Cabinet.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recommended Actions: The EMP will be placed on the Intranet following approval from the President’s Cabinet. The Campus Safety Office will supervise the transfer of any revisions to the EMP to the Intranet.
