Cooperative Degree Oversight Committee

Georgia Highlands College maintains cooperative degree programs with Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC). In these arrangements GHC provides the general education component and the technical college provides the technical course component.

The Cooperative Degree Oversight Committees (CDOCs) provide general oversight for the program. The committee is made up of representatives from GNTC and GHC. The CDOCs meet each semester to review their respective programs. Some of the tasks of the CDOCs are to examine the components of each degree program, validate faculty credentials, review assessment activities and maintain an ongoing program review cycle.
