Procedures for Reserving GHC Facilities
I. Basic Procedures for Reserving Georgia Highlands College Facilities
1. Tentative scheduling begins by contacting the office primarily responsible for scheduling the facility.
2. The room/facility must be reserved by the appropriate scheduling office. The room/facility will be held in the reserved status pending final approval.
3. Complete all forms provided by the scheduling office and submit for final approval.
4. After final approval, the event will be added to Georgia Highlands College’s master calendar, except for events on playing fields.
5. A copy of the completed forms will be sent to the contact person along with the appropriate usage regulations.
Note: Most groups planning to use Georgia Highlands College Facilities for educational/training purposes should schedule through the Public Service/Continuing Education Office.
II. Reserving Lakeview Auditorium and Centre Stage at Heritage Hall
1. To reserve the Lakeview Auditorium or Centre Stage at Heritage Hall call the Continuing Education Department of Georgia Highlands College at 706-295-6324. For Facilities located at the Cartersville Campus call 678-872-8240. Approval must be received before publication of the event.
1. The facility should be reserved a minimum of thirty days prior to the event.
2. A deposit of $150 is required to reserve the facility.
3. All forms must be completed and submitted for approval two weeks prior to the event.
4. A copy of the approved forms will be sent to the contact person along with the appropriate rules and regulations.
III. Scheduling Other Facilities
The following offices should be contacted to reserve other Georgia Highlands College facilities:

The President’s Conference Room and the Tower View Dining Room
Vice President (Academic Affairs) Office - (phone# 706-295-6331)
All classrooms, lecture halls, science labs, Walraven and Social and Cultural
conference rooms, room B-200 and the computer labs.
Physical Education - phone# 706-296-6353)
The gym, golf instructional area, tennis courts, all playing fields, fitness trail,
fitness facilities and dressing rooms.

The Solarium and Student Center
Physical Plant - (phone# 706-295-6350)
Art Gallery, Pavilion, and Gazebo.
Nursing - (phone# 706-295-6321)
Heritage Hall Annex
